Fall Favourites

For this weeks post I have decided to try something new and list my fall favourites. We are just entering the colder weather so have a look and let me know what you think.

St. Ives Gentle Apricot Scrub – £4.00

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Bubble Clay Mask – £10.00

Mancera Aoud Black Candy 120ml – £56.50

This month I think I discovered my perfect skincare routine. I have a lot of trouble finding a really good exfoliator as I have super sensitive skin. I was talking to a very helpful sales assistant in Boots who recommended the ‘St. Ives Apricot Scrub’ as it doest contain microbeads and is specifically for sensitive skin. After using it for a couple of weeks, I have fallen in love. It gives my face a deep clean but it also doesn’t trigger my psoriasis or leave any marks. 10/10

I am a youtube junkie, and I have seen so many people rave about the ‘Carbonated Bubble Mask’ so obviously I had to give it a go.  I have never used anything like this before and I thought it was quite a novelty product before I had tried it. It feels like a normal mud mask when you apply it but then the fun starts. You know when you were a child and you would make a mask of bubbles in a bubble bath? It’s basically as amazing as that. It really tingles on your face and you can feel it doing its work. After only a couple of minutes you rub it in and wash it off, and honestly my skin felt so smooth and plumped up. I really would recommend this product if you have quite delicate skin and it needs a little love.

Perfume is something that I always have to apply, always. I am not really a snob when it comes to a fragrance, but as long as it smells amazing then I really don’t care about the price. Mancera is a company that I have only just come across, I think they are exclusive to Selfridges in the UK? They have a huge collection of scents and honestly you just need to go and smell them to see how amazing they are. I am a lover of Aoud, it is one of my favourite notes along with vanilla and the black candy perfume that I have today is just beautiful. It is quite a sweet scent, but you only need a couple of sprays and it lasts all day! You get alot of product aswell, it is about £50 for 120ml which to me is crazy compared to other high end companies.

Candles

yankee

Yankee Candle Oud Oasis – £21.99

Yankee Candle Egyptian Musk – £21.99

Addiction comes in many forms, and I am not ashamed to admit that I have a problem, I am addicted to Yankee Candle. I cannot visit a shopping centre without popping in and picking at least two up and when there is a sale, don’t get in my way. Two of my all time favourite scents are ‘Egyptian Musk’ and ‘Oud Oasis’. I like my bedroom to be the most relaxing place in the house, so that when I come up to bed, I can feel safe and completely calm. That is why I always have one of these candles lit for a couple of hours in the evening to help create that mood, and I love them. With Yankee it can get quite expensive stocking up on candles, so I suggest waiting until they have a 75% sale in store which is usually around new year and mid summer. Honestly I think they know me by name in my local store, its quite embarrassing.

Clothing

bomber

Topman Dusty Pink Tailored Bomber – £50

At the moment all I wear is ‘Bomber Jackets’. I think it is a mixture of the really humid weather and trying to feel comfortable. Topman has a huge selection of these jackets and their tailored range is the best. They fit perfectly and keep their shape when you wear them. I chose this one because it has quite a metallic dusty pink colour that looks amazing with black. They are having a 30% off sale at the moment and a couple of these jackets are in it so make sure you check it out.

Phones

phones

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 64gb

iPhone 7 Black 128gb

Casemate Karat Case – £39.99

I have had an eventful month with my phone. I love phablet devices, hence why I have always used the ‘Samsung Galaxy Note’ phones, I have had problems with them in the past but I wasn’t ready for the issues with this phone. My personal phone is perfectly fine, it gets a little warm when charging but otherwise its great. Type it into google and its a completely different story. There is currently a worldwide recall of the phone as some handsets have been exploding. The issue is that because of this, I cannot get my phone replaced until October 21st as O2 get them back in stock on that date. So I was stuck with a phone that may blow up at anytime. So I decided to take the plunge and buy an iPhone 7, on paper they specs of the devices are similar but they are obviously completely different to use. I love Android, but have never had any issue with switching to ios (i’m not a huge fanboy). The iPhone 7 is beautiful, it is so cute and for the first time in 4 years I have a phone that fits into my pocket. I am going to give it a week or so and then decide which one I want to send back but as huge camera user and game player, I think the Note 7 is just clinging on to my heartstrings.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed my first ever favourites post. As always, make sure you follow me on instagram for daily updates and check back soon for a new post.

🙂
