Beauty Pie: February Purchases

As my earlier post about Beauty Pie was so well received, I thought that I would update you guys on what I purchased this month from them with my £100 retail allowance. If you are new to the concept of Beauty Pie, then I suggest checking out my post where I explain how it works or you can visit their site here!

Since my post, Beauty Pie has expanded their site to now include two eyeshadow palettes, a set of makeup brushes and a lovely radiance powder (which I obviously had to get). I am so happy that they are sticking to their word and constantly adding new products to their site, it just makes me even more excited as to what they have planned for the future.

Pro-Glow Highlighter – £5.46 with a membership/ £30 without

The first item that I picked up is the ‘Pro-Glow Highlighter‘. My friend who also has a subscription actually bought this last month and has been telling me how amazing it is, so naturally I had to have it. The formula is stunning, and blends out effortlessly into the skin. The marble pattern actually goes the whole way through the pan so you can choose between shades depending on how you want your highlight to look. Stupidly, I didn’t take any swatch photographs for this post so I will get some uploaded onto my instagram in the coming days, so make sure you are following me to see those.

Quantum Bronzer – £3.00 with membership/ £26 without

The next item is the ‘Quantum Bronzer‘. I’m not to sure how I feel about this one. when I first swatched it, it was more like a gold highlight which was really strange as it is described as a ‘radiant matte bronze finish’. Saying that, there is obviously a thin top layer on this product that you get rid of when you first swatch it and then it becomes matte. There is only one shade available, which will hopefully change soon as this one is very warm toned. The formula is lovely and it blended out so well but it was way to orange for my skintone. If you love a warm bronzer then this would be perfect for you.

Moonlighting Balm Radiance Powder – £3.09 with membership/ £26 without

Finally I have the ‘Moonlighting Balm Radiance Powder‘ which I mentioned before. When I ordered this, I imagined it to be comparable to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders and I was wrong, but not at all disappointed. When you swatch it, basically nothing shows up as it is so finely milled but it does leave a subtle warm radiant effect. I actually used this yesterday, with my normal makeup routine and my skin feel so much smoother, and overall just incredibly plumper and blurred looking. I know that probably sounds like a strange combination of words but honestly I loved it! It comes in three shades and the one I chose was ‘Soft Soul’. I have never used a product like this before and I think I will be investing in the other shades when my allowance tops up.

Overall I spent £19 including shipping, which is way less than I would normally spend on a single highlighter so I think it is a great deal. I really am loving Beauty Pie at the moment and their products have worked their way into my daily makeup bag. Keep up the amazing work guys!

Thank you so much for reading and make sure you are following the blog to keep up to date!
